Mr. V. Parthipan

Mr V. Parthipan graduated from University of London. He started his pupillage at Messrs R. Nethaji Rayer & Co.(First pupil of this firm) under the guidance of Mr RSN Rayer. He was called to the bar on 17th November 2003 and was offered to work as a Legal Associate in the same firm that he started his pupillage in. With several notable reported cases under his belt and a passion to expand his horizons, Mr. V. Parthipan’s began his journey as one of the Principal partners of Messrs V.Parthipan & Khor and latter to Sole Properitor.

Excellent advocacy and client skills mean he is able to deal with all types of clients, from the most vulnerable to the most robust, in the most trivial to the difficult cases. He also has an ability and skills to present or challenge expert evidence in disciplines in a clear and effective manner.

He regularly represents both individual and corporate clients in complex assault, robbery, sexual offences, white-collar crimes, corruption charges and general offences under the Penal Code.

Mr. V. Parthipan’s practice is split between criminal defense and family law. Throughout the years, he has successfully represented his clients in custody, visitation, and support proceedings in Court as well as with highly contentious divorces. Ms. Sharmela Tamil Mani

Sharmela Tamil Mani graduated with Bachelor of Law LL.B (Hons) from Multimedia University (Malacca). She chambered in Sudesh Narinder & Co. where she was exposed mainly to criminal and accident matters. As a chambering student, she was given opportunity to prepare submission and cause papers, assisted lawyers for trial, attended client, worked on research and attended court, i.e. plea guilty, remand, mention and decision. After completed her pupillage, she was called to the Malaysian Bar and was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of High Court of Malaysia in 6th July 2018.

With the guidance and immense support of Mr. Parthipan, she joined Messrs V. Parthipan & Co. in November 2018 as an associate to start off her career and to further expand her knowledge and experience in Criminal matters.
